T  The Giving Gifts podcast was created to be a space for people to get to share honestly, without an agenda or a desired outcome, just a space where your experience is important and needed. I wanted this podcast to be an exploration of who a person is  Do you ever find yourself kinda stuck? Maybe you're stuck with some thoughts you can't seem to shake a story you keep telling yourself? Maybe you are holding on to some ideas or beliefs so tightly that it is difficult for you to see or hear anyone w  In the process of planning Discover:surf I reached out to Vanessa Yeager. Vanessa is life long surfer who has such an incredible heart for inclusivity in the surf community, she is the founder of the Latinx surf community - a group of 2000+ Latin su  Do you ever find it difficult to listen? Like to really listen…not just to hear something but to actually listen to something or someone?   Oksana has been committed to learning to listen pretty much her whole life. With English not being her first  Do you have a person in your life who is just refreshing to be with? A human who allows you to show up in whatever form you're in and leave a little more whole. A friend who meets you in the darker moments with a soft light…not one of those obnoxiou  The Giving Gifts Podcast was created to be a place where real people can share real stories as they are navigating how to use their gifts in this world. Rafik Wahbi delivers a very honest, open, raw view into life as an abolitionist and the reality  Kimmy has an autoimmune illness that impacts her day to day, relationships, work, really her whole life. The way that she has allowed her physical health and mental health to be a source a discovering her gift of connection is admirable and it is de  Brad is a writer and poet, the author of "The Art Of Relating", and really just an incredible human with a gift of words and vulnerability. When I think about a person who is committed to digging in deeper to vulnerability for the sake of relating,  It is so often that we immediately share what a person does rather than who a person is. When I met Deb I knew within minutes that this woman was not simply an owner of a coffee shop. I would come to learn that Deb had a story, deeply rooted in a co  I want you to imagine that you're sitting down with two good friends to chat about life...that's really all this episode is and I believe if you really listen there will be something you connect with!   Julia Rockowitz host the first episode of 2022 as we dive into the new year and the vision for The Giving Gifts!   Here’s the thing about Aleena. Aleena is young, wise, and so courageous. Aleena has these gifts rooted in a life that is filled with both hardship and celebration. Aleena has perspective and insight that when the world hears, when people begin to co  "Diversity is about being able to recognize that we are different and that there is beauty is in that difference."  Regina & Nyasha live and raise their family in Zimbabwe & this conversation is truly so rich with truth and curiosity.   An episode that was needed after 4 and before 5, meeting you right in the middle to talk about giving & generosity!   In a world that feels so disconnected, connection is a gift that may be more needed now than perhaps ever before.
