Hiiiii! I am so thankful you are here!

You may or may not have already known that I’ve been working on a project I am calling Whether the Weather, and I’d love your help in shaping it. This book/guide is all about exploring the highs and lows of life with courage, curiosity, and connection. It’s about embracing calm moments, weathering storms, and navigating through the most challenging and joyful parts of being human.

I’ve written some prompts that will be part of the guide, and I want to see how they land with others. That’s where you come in! I’m hoping you’ll take a moment to reflect on a few of the prompts and share your thoughts with me. I’m not sure yet which responses I’ll include in the book, but if something really lands, I’d love to ask if I can feature it.

Please note, there’s no pressure, just be honest and share whatever resonates with you. You can choose to stay anonymous if that feels better. If you choose anonymity, I won’t know who you are, and your response will be used without any identifying information. If your response resonates and I would like to feature it in the book, I’ll only reach out to you if you’ve shared your contact information. This is about seeing how these prompts connect with people, not about anything final or written in stone. Think of it as a conversation, and your voice is so important in making this guide come alive!

Your Reflection
Feel free to get as creative as you'd like! Whether it’s a story, a poem, a conversation, a drawing, a photograph…whatever resonates with you. Don’t worry about perfection. In the form below, you’ll see an option to submit a file if your response is in a format other than text, or if you'd prefer to submit a document for any reason.

The Prompts

I’ve got 6 prompts for you to choose from. They touch on different phases, from calm moments to total chaos, and the rebuilding after storms. Feel free to respond to any or all of them, whatever feels right for you. If any of these prompts feel like they stand out to you, I’d love for you to reflect and share your response. You can do so below.

If your response resonates with the themes of the guide, I may reach out and ask if I can feature it in the book. But again, no pressure, this is just a way to see how others experience these questions and if they help bring the guide to life.

**You may want to draft your response in notes or a separate document so you can go back to it, share it, or if something happens and I don’t receive the submission you still have it!

Calm (Before the Storm, A Moment of Stillness)

PROMPT 1: Can you think of a time when things felt steady, predictable, or even calm before something changed? What did that time in your life look like? Did you have a sense that something was coming, or was it unexpected?

PROMPT 2: Has there ever been a time when someone close to you was going through a tough storm, and you were in a more peaceful place? How did you show up for them?

PROMPT 3: Can you share a time when someone stayed calm during your own storm? What did that mean for you?

Waiting (The Uncertainty, The In-Between)

PROMPT 4: Have you ever been in a season of waiting, not knowing what would happen next? How did it feel to hold onto hope and fear at the same time, and what helped you manage the uncertainty?

The Storm (Chaos, Crisis, and Survival)

PROMPT 5: Tell me about a time when life felt totally overwhelming, chaotic, or painful. How did you get through it? Was there something unexpected that helped…maybe a moment of clarity or community? If you're still in the moment, feel free to share what it's like to simply be in it, without the pressure for it to get better or for a silver lining to appear.

Post-Storm (The Aftermath, Rebuilding & Integration)

PROMPT 6: What was life like after you made it through a major storm or loss? How did you start to rebuild? What did you learn from that experience that’s shaped you now?
