Normally right about now I would be driving a very packed up car to the beach, picking up cookies on the way, and arriving a little earlier than anyone else so that I could take the five minutes to connect with the space and feel grounded before the cleanup begins. Today is a very different first Saturday of the month for me. I am currently curled up with two pups. The cleanup is still happening today I am just not there.

The theme for the cleanup is “Estas aqui” or “I am here” and I thought I would just share the reflection that those who show up to cleanup will be invited to consider. I am sitting with this reflection too…recognizing both the beauty and challenge that comes with fully being where I am while also wanting to be somewhere else and having a little bit of my heart scattered all over the place.
