This whole week I've been finding myself at the end of the day with one thing on my mind: may all of this lead to deeper connections and if not may it fall to the side.

I thought it would be fun to have this email land in your little email box at the same time I'm heading out from the casita on the way to our World Ocean Day event & celebration.

We'll spend the morning drinking coffee, cleaning the beach, playing games, we have a snorkeling activity, a few other activities, and a breakfast...probably the most dynamics we have had in one morning so far.

I feel like it's easy to get pretty attached to the outcomes of mornings like these and the tricky yet such beautiful gift of connection is it always reaches a point where it's completely out of my control. We've got the timeline and the group texts, we've done a ton of inviting, and then we just see where the morning takes us.

I've attached the tide reflection we'll be using this morning.

I keep finding myself looking at it and seeing something different every time. Maybe you will too. This one feels a bit special because Susie and I got to put it together and this morning is her first event as the community intern!

If you have a moment today, I'd love for you to spend a few minutes with it and if reflections aren't your thing, that's okay too. Go put your feet in the ocean. Call someone you miss. Sit outside for five minutes. Wave at your neighbor. Whatever connection looks like for you today.

That's really all we're trying to create anyway.

Happy World Ocean Day,

Cas
